The second annual Lip Sync Competition to benefit the Prairie Central FCCLA is happening May 6 at Chenoa Grade School.

Jeannea Shier, member of the board of directors for the PCHS Friends of the FCCLA said this event was popular last year and she’s expecting more fun this year.

“We are looking for enhanced participation, so we’re hoping more students and faculty will participate with acts and we’re looking for people to come out and cheer them on,” Shier said.

This event is family friendly and open to the public. Admission is $3 and children 10 and under are free with an accompanying adult. Concessions will also be offered.
