The United Way of Livingston County held its Celebration last night in the company of nearly 100 guests, which included donors, board of directors and representatives from many of the agencies served through the program.

The big news of the night is they met their goal of $194,000, and Sarah Selmeyer, president of the board of directors, shared her enthusiasm about the milestone.

“I’m just absolutely ecstatic. We’re going to have to keep that rolling, because we have three new agencies wanting to come on board and in order to fund them as well as the ones we have been, we’re going to have to up our goal,” Selmeyer said.
