The United Way of Livingston County has exactly two weeks to hit its 2016 fundraising goal, and the group is certain it will happen this year in time for the Celebration April 27 at the Pontiac Elks Lodge.

They are 90 percent of their way to their goal, with $10,000 to go, and United Way of Livingston County Executive Director Deb Howard looks to meet that goal.

“We’re at 90 percent. We are almost there. We couldn’t be more excited. We have about $10,000 to go and with everybody’s help, this is a great community and we know we’ll make it,” Howard said.

The Celebration starts at 5 p.m. and reservations need to be made by Friday by calling 844-5131 or emailing [email protected].
