“Five Ingredient Fix” is coming to Eureka Public Library Monday, April 18, from 6:30 to 7:30.
This event is a collaboration between the University of Illinois Extension Livingston-McLean-Woodford counties and the library. Extension Unit Educator in Nutrition and Wellness Jenna Smith said the day will highlight things like writing a menu with a short grocery list, along with food demonstrations and tastings.
“Participants will be able to get a lot of different recipes with simple ingredients. Things that are going to be pretty common – nothing too uncommon, which is always good,” Smith said.
There is a $3 charge for the class and to RSVP, contact Eureka Public Library at 309-467-2922.
