The Pontiac Fire Department responded to a stove fire Late Friday evening in the 600 block of Reynolds Street.

According to Pontiac Fire Chief Scott Runyon, the fire was reported at 8:47 p.m. and police were able to contain the fire prior to firefighters’ arrival. Runyon also said the adult occupant saved a child and two dogs, causing him to suffer moderate burns on his hand.
