Applications available for Summer Youth Police Program

The Illinois State Police and the American Legion are accepting applications for the Summer Youth Police Program.

This event is happening June 26 through July 1 at the Illinois State Police Academy in Springfield and is looking to attract teens that are looking for career opportunities through training with police and military personnel. The camp is structured to promote educational and learning opportunities for youth ages 14 through 16 in the areas of law enforcement, military, cultural diversity, personal development, physical fitness and social and interpersonal skills.
