Learning to prepare ‘No Guilt Desserts’

The University of Illinois Extension is partnering with OSF Center for Healthy Lifestyles to present No Guilt Desserts from 5:30 to 7 Thursday, April 7.

Jenna Smith, U of I Extension nutrition and wellness educator and registered dietician will be teaching the crowd that delicious desserts don’t have to be filled with high-calorie and high-fat ingredients. The menu includes items such as carrot date truffles, warm berry cobbler and unforgettable chocolate mousse.

The event will take place at the Center for Healthy Lifestyles at 2200 E. Washington Street in Bloomington. To register, call 1-888-627-5673 or go online to osfstjoseph.org/calendar. There is a $20 fee for this class.
