Nomination forms are now being accepted for the 35th annual Pontiac Rotary Citizen of the Year.
Rotarian Lori Pemberton explained some of the traits that a Citizen of the Year winner would have.
“What we’re looking for is someone who is involved with local clubs or organizations, whether it’s local boards or someone who lives in Pontiac who is on State boards, as well as anyone who does volunteer work throughout the county,” Pemberton said.
Nomination forms are at Driscoll Motors, County Market, Pontiac Family Kitchen, Caryl and Marilyn, Pontiac Township, First Financial Bank, Streator Onized Credit Union and Bank of Pontiac.
The recipient will be honored at a noon banquet April 5 at Baby Bull’s Fine Dining.
