The Pontiac Township High School Interact club recently made a donation to the United Way of Livingston County through several fundraisers.

Deb Howard, executive director of the United Way of Livingston County said she was proud of the students coming together for a good cause.

“It’s a great opportunity to teach the young people, who are our future, about making donations to the United Way and to the agencies that will surround the world they live in,” Howard said.

The $380 donation came through money raised from the Mr. Indian Contest during homecoming week, along with asking students to donate $2 for the ability to dress in costume on Halloween.
