“Outdoor Venture: Start Your Journey” bus trip is happening January 16 through the University of Illinois Extension in Pontiac.

This bus trip will take children to Bass Pro Shops in East Peoria for the day and Alcha Corban, 4-H Educator for the University of Illinois Extension of Livingston and Woodford Counties said both 4-H members and non 4-H members are able to sign up.

“You’re going to learn fishing terms, angling skills, tackle and bait, but we’re really excited for that. It’s for 4-H and non-4-H members,” Corban said.

The cost of this trip is $35 and you can pre-register your child by calling 842-1776.
