Three men were charged with armed robbery and aggravated robbery in Livingston County late last week.
According to Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis, shortly after midnight December 30, a person reported three people wearing hooded sweatshirts robbed him and claimed they had guns. The victim said his gold watch and cash were stolen. The victim told officers he recognized one of the people who robbed him, identifying 18-year-old Marquan Lockett of Pontiac.
Lockett was located outside his residence with 19-year-old Lorenzo Pettigrew of Champaign, and 18-year-old Korrion Taylor, of Urbana. Lockett was wearing the gold watch that had been stolen.
All three were arrested and formally charged December 31.
