Beginning November 22, the OSF Healthcare will enforce $10 an hour as its new minimum wage.

Vice President of Compensation and Benefits for OSF Healthcare Kristin Williams said when making this decision, they looked at it from the perspective of an employer and as a ministry of Catholic Healthcare.

“The mission partners, as we refer to our employees, are also very excited about the change. It will have a great impact on several of our full-time mission partners in their ability to better care for their families,” Williams said.

Williams said the socially just minimum wage will help them recognize the personal worth and dignity of everyone they serve, including their own mission partners.
