The Pontiac District 90 board of education met last night and approved a tentative levy.
Superintendent Jon Kilgore explained the levy would be finalized in May and this one brings a 1.39 percent increase.
“That is a three cent increase from $2.46 to $2.49. That $73, 940 is the amount that is provided over the 272 square miles that District 90 represents,” said Kilgore.
The podcast of this morning’s late edition of the Community Forum with Kilgore, where he will further detail the proposed levy, will be available at wjez.com later this morning.
