Livingston County Associate Judge Mark Fellheimer announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for Circuit Judge in the March Republican primary to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Circuit Judge Charles Reynard.

Fellheimer was introduced to the crowd by former Livingston County State’s Attorney and Eleventh Circuit Judge Donald Bernardi. Fellheimer has been an associate judge since 2008.

“I look back at my transcript in 2008, before I began service, and I believe I’ve done what I promised to do back then, which was to treat each and every case and litigant as the most important case at that time and to be fair, compassionate and swift in resolving their issues,” Fellheimer said.

Fellheimer also cleared up any confusion that may have been caused due to Circuit Judges Charles Feeny and Casey Costigan running for different judicial vacancies than the one made by Reynard.
