The Illinois State Police have reviewed the status of concealed carry legislation, reporting that in Livingston County 386 people now have active licenses. Because of the long wait for concealed carry in Illinois, the early months of 2014 saw a spike in applications from both gun owners and those wishing to be instructors. Over the course of the year, 2 license applications in Livingston County were denied, while one was revoked during the same period.
