WJEZ recently held a ‘Peanut Butter for Paws’ peanut butter drive, benefitting the Livingston County Humane Society.

Many of our listeners flooded the station with several jars of peanut butter. Karen Gregory from the Humane Society came in to collect the donations and said she was surprised and touched by the donations.

“It was a huge surprise. How wonderful it is for the people and local media to reach out and help us like this because this is something we simply can’t afford at the shelter,” Gregory said.
