District Six Illinois State Police are handling an accident that occurred shortly before 7 a.m. yesterday morning just west of Fairbury.

The accident happened at McLean County 1800 East Road and Route 24 when a motorcycle collided with a semi tractor trailer.

McLean County Coroner was on the scene and one death has been confirmed.
