The Pontiac Salvation Army’s Christmas in July event ends today.

There is quite an inventory of Christmas items collected throughout the year, and each piece is 50 cents.

Money raised through this sale goes into the general assistance program, which helps people with security deposits, utilities, rent assistance and sometimes, prescription assistance.
