The Livingston County Humane Society will have its annual “August Hill Winery Utica” wine tasting fundraiser at DeLongs Casual Dining and Spirits in Pontiac Tuesday, August 22, from 5 to close.

Karen Gregory with the Humane Society said she and the staff always look forward to this evening, which has a lot happening to benefit the animals at the shelter.

“This is something we really have a fun time at. Families are invited, as well. For $10, you get several tastings of premium wines. And you also get desserts, chocolates and we have a cheese tray. If you’re hungry you can purchase a meal. We’ll be doing 50/50, a percent of the meal comes back to the shelter and all of this really, really helps the animals,” Gregory said.
