The University of Illinois Extension is taking its cooking programs to Eureka Public Library Thursday at 6:30, this time, to teach people how to cook with herbs.
Nutrition and Wellness Educator Jenna Smith said this evening will teach people how to properly use herbs when cooking meals.
“We’ll be talking about how you use fresh herbs in your cooking. It’s called ‘It’s Thyme’ T-H-Y-M-E – ha ha – It’s Thyme for Herbs and it’s going to be a lot of fun. We’re going to have a cooking demonstration, as well, to kind of use some of these fresh herbs and how you exactly what to do with them,” Smith said.
To register, call the library at 309-467-2922.
