The Gold Wing Road Riders Association came back to Pontiac yesterday, giving a chance for people to learn about their unique motorcycles.

Pontiac Tourism Director Ellie Alexander describes the bikes and their owners.

“They’re a quieter ride, a more comfortable ride, there’s a lot of them that have trikes. Some of the members of the group said these are for the older people. They don’t necessarily need the loud pipes or any of that rough ride. They’re pretty nice looking vehicles,” Alexander said.

The GWRRA will be holding a flag parade throughout Pontiac this evening, beginning in the downtown at 7:45, going past the city band concert at Humiston Riverside Park, and winding through the south side of town, into the north and back to the downtown.
