The Livingston County Board is short one member and they are currently looking for interested individuals.

Board Chairman Bob Young explained that Kelly Cochran Cohlman announced her resignation during the May meeting, and the spot hasn’t been filled as of Thursday’s meeting.

“We still need a board member from either the Pontiac township or Rooks Creek township. We’d sure like to have anyone that’s interested in it call the county office or contact me. We’ll put them to work,” Young said.

The only requirement is the person wishing to fill the vacancy needs to be a registered Republican. For more information or to apply, call the Board office at 844-6378.
