State Representative Tom Bennett says he’s been busy in Springfield, but has taken time to visit with constituents while in office.
Bennett says he takes those conversations with him to Springfield with the hope in changing the state of the state.
“Most of the bills I bring forward are from constituents from our district. That is so important to do and I really appreciate people talking to me and sharing with me their ideas. Some things we can help change. Some things we’re not able to. Sometimes it takes more than a year,” Bennett said.
Bennett was a guest on a recent Community Forum, where he talks about the new stop gap budget and how things have been running in the state capitol. That podcast is available at wjez.com.
