Kiwanis trivia night Friday

The Pontiac Kiwanis is holding its fourth annual trivia night Friday at 7 at the Pontiac VFW.

Club member Ron Baker explains the evening’s activities.

“It’s still a team trivia contest. You can have up to seven people on your team. The format will be a little different this year. There won’t be quite as many questions and there will be a little more decision making, as far as how many points you want to wager. As far as raffles, we do a super 50/50, and we’re fortunate. There are a lot of businesses that support us with donations of gift cards and other gifts like that, so what we’ll do is, as you purchase 50/50 tickets, we’ll do a draw down with those and award a prize at the end of every round,” Baker said.

This event raises funds to support the Kiwanis sponsorship of the Builder’s Club at Pontiac Junior High and the Key Club at the high school. Registration is $10 per person and teams up to seven players.
