The Hope Pregnancy Center in Pontiac is holding the Building Hope Fundraiser Thursday, April 6, and the Pontiac Elks Lodge from 6 to 9 p.m.

Executive Director Sarah Brumitt said the evening to help raise money for renovations for the building will include dinner and guest speakers Derrick and Julie Tennant.

“Our south outer wall has had a lot of work done to it over the years just to patch and hope it will last for awhile. We’re to the point where we actually have to build an entire outer wall, so this is a big endeavor, obviously, that will start this spring. But we need to have it so we can maintain the building so we can offer our services to our clients,” Brumitt said.
