The United Way of Livingston County received a donation from Enbridge and its Flanagan Station employees Tuesday morning for more than $11,000.
Community Engagement Advisor Cheryl Harvey said this check was a combination of an employee drive and Enbridge matching funds. She said employees have had a chance to learn how the United Way helps people across the communities it serves and wanted to give back.
“I think it’s great, because at Enbridge, we want to be part of the community. We want to be neighbors and so we care about the community. We care about the environment, and this is just another opportunity for us to demonstrate that caring attitude we have in our community. It’s just a privilege for us to be a part of the United Way of Livingston County,” Harvey said.
