WJEZ has been partnering with Bank of Pontiac all of February for the Share the Fur-Love Drive, and between what’s been dropped off here at the station and the Livingston County Humane Society, a lot of items have been donated.
Our very own Cat has more.
“What they do out there takes a lot of work and it takes a lot of money. I don’t think we realize. Our Fur Drive was just a way for us to facilitate people dropping donations off, because it is a trek out to the humane society. But, if you’re downtown, stop by here and drop off your donations. The Fur Drive ends on Tuesday. ‘Ends’ in quotes, meaning we will always be a drop off place for the humane society, but we will be taking stuff through next week. We’ll load it all up and take it out to the humane society. We couldn’t have done it without the Bank of Pontiac and we are happy we were able to do this in February,” Cat said.
