Details are being released about a Saturday evening incident in Pontiac.

According to Pontiac Police Chief Jim Woolford, a group of teenage boys were fishing at Chautauqua Park earlier Saturday afternoon, when they saw what they thought to be a mannequin hanging inside Camp Humiston Memorial Swimming Pool. They came back later in the evening for a closer look, only to find it wasn’t a mannequin, but a 24 year old Hudson woman. Officers arrived after the group called 911 shortly before 8:30 p.m.

This incident remains under investigation with the Pontiac Police and the Livingston County Coroner.
