The University of Illinois Extension Livingston County is offering the Wizarding World Adventure Camp March 21 and 22 in Pontiac.

Program Coordinator Sara Attig explains the two-day event for children ages 8 and older.

“The first thing we have planned is, of course, being sorted into houses. So we have a sorting hat and the students will be sorted into their houses. We have different stations. They will be doing a wand-making workshop, so a lot of hands-on activities there. We have some guest professors coming in. We’ll have some sessions on potions and Herbology 101. We will also be doing some things with magical creatures and a tri-wizard tournament,” Attig said.
