Pontiac Parks and Recreation is planning its annual Daddy Daughter Date Night for Saturday from 6:30 to 9.

Recreation Supervisor Greg Faloona describes the event.

“It’s designed for fathers, uncles and grandpas to treat the special ladies in their lives to a night of festive fun, food and dancing. Every year it’s a different theme. We’ve done Disco, we’ve done A Night in Hollywood, Western, things like that. This year is Under the Sea. It’s designed to make our guests forget about that cold, dreary weather outside, that is February in the Midwest, and enjoy our vivid colors and decorations, and take a dive, so to speak, into the ocean that is our basketball courts,” Faloona said.
