Livingston County Officials Are Seeking an Interim Coroner

LIVINGSTON COUNTY IS SEEKING AN INTERIM CORONER

Livingston County officials are seeking candidates to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson. Candidates must come from the Republican party, be 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of the county.

The person selected will be announced at the Thursday, December 14th, meeting of the County Board. The selectee will serve in the position until November 30, 2024. A permanent coroner will be elected in the November 5th, 2024, general election.

Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to the County Board offices, 112 W. Madison Street, Pontiac by Tuesday, December 5th. Letters of interest should be addressed to the attention of County Board Chair James Carley.
