According to the Livingston County Health Department, area residents who qualify for COVID-19 vaccinations can register now for upcoming clinics.
The state is currently in Phase 1B of vaccination distribution, and the health department is prioritizing county residents 65 years of age or older. Clinics have already been conducted in the area and will continue over the next several weeks and months.
Any county resident that is 65 or older can register for vaccination through the health department at their website. Visit LCHD.US to complete a brief questionnaire and finish the registration process. Individuals who qualify will be notified of upcoming clinics.
The health department has also announced that school personnel are receiving high priority for vaccination in the county.
While essential workers are currently eligible for COVID-19 vaccination, the health department is currently focusing its resources on seniors and school personnel. Essential workers who are eligible under Phase 1B should monitor the health department website for updates and vaccination availability.
