42 New COVID-19 Cases Reported as Mitigations Change

Livingston County is one of several Illinois counties seeing a loosening of COVID-19 restrictions, but reports of new infections continue. The Livingston County Health Department reports that 42 new cases were documented between January 23rd and 25th, bringing the county’s active case total to 165. The fatality rate remains at 65 and none of the latest cases were in the Pontiac Correctional Center population.
