Health Department Reporting 38 COVID-19 Cases and 2 Fatalities

Two more people have died as a result of complications from COVID-19 infection. That’s the latest word from the Livingston County Health Department. 38 county residents are newly identified as having the virus, raising the number of active cases in the county to 188. The two most recent fatalities bring the overall figure to 61.

More information on the COVID-19 pandemic is available at the Livingston County Health Department website at lchd.us. Appointments for COVID-19 testing can be made at that website as well. Tests are conducted at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center weekday mornings. Those seeking testing are not required to leave their car.
