Ellie Alexander from Pontiac tourism says COVID-19 restrictions announced by the governor yesterday have prompted the closing of Pontiac’s museums until further notice. The museum closures begin tomorrow (Thursday, 11/19).

Some activities in the community are still on the calendar. They include:

Currently – A Christmas Carol window exhibit at the Pontiac Oakland Musuem and Story Trail throughout downtown

November 27 – Light Up Parade in Chautauqua Park 6 – 8:30pm

November 28 – Small Business Saturday – Shop Local, Shop Small

December 10 – Shop Late til 8 and see Santa in his snow globe 5 – 7pm in downtown Pontiac

Snow Globe Santa Saturdays – 10 – 1PM – November 28; December 5; December 12; December 19

December 31 – Farewell 2020 Fireworks – Rec Plex 9:00PM
