Livingston County COVID-19 Numbers Spike Again

The latest numbers from the Livingston County Health Department show 46 new cases of COVID-19 infection. The latest positive tests came from a child under 10 years old at one end of the age spectrum and from a woman in her 80s at the other. All of those infected are in isolation in their homes.

133 COVID-19 cases remain active in Livingston County with five of those individuals hospitalized. There have been 886 cases overall with the majority of those out of isolation. 12 county residents have died as a result of COVID-19 complications.

Appointments for COVID-19 testing can be made through the Livingston County Health Department at (815) 844-7174. Tests are conducted weekday mornings at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center.
