The latest figures released by the Livingston County Health Department say that 46 more residents of Livingston County tested positive for COVID-19 infection between October 31st and November 2nd. 17 inmates housed at Pontiac Correctional Center were diagnosed, as well, bringing the county’s total number of infections to 840.
133 cases remain active with five people hospitalized and the rest recovering in isolation. 12 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 related complications.
COVID-19 testing is available at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht medical center. Testing supplies are limited, however, so appointments for testing are strongly recommended. Those appointments can be made by calling the Livingston County Health Department at (815) 844-7174.
