Monday saw a spike in COVID-19 infection numbers. The Livingston County Health Department says 20 residents were identified as positive on Monday along with 8 inmates at the Pontiac Correctional Center. County officials also learned of another fatality related to the disease.

The county’s grand total rises to 570 positive COVID-19 tests overall. Of those, 52 cases remain active, one person is hospitalized, and ten have died from complications related to coronavirus infection. The remaining 508 patients have recovered and are out of isolation.
