Vermillion Players Opening “Reflections on the Riverbank”

The Vermillion Players and the Livingston County Historical Society are launching a unique production this weekend (10/16 through 10/18) and it’s not going to be on stage. “Reflections on the Riverbank” will be performed in Southside Cemetery in Pontiac. Director Lisa Green has assembled actors who will portray figures from Livingston County’s past in live performances at locations throughout the cemetery.

Though it’s set in a cemetery, the production is not Halloween-oriented or spooky The information provided by the actors in their presentations is researched and as historically accurate as possible. The entire production takes about an hour to complete and it involves walking in a group of 10 or less with a guide leading guests from location to location.

Tours will be conducted on Friday (10/16) at 4:00, 4:20, 4:40, and 5:00. Saturday tours will start at 11:00, 11:20, 11:40, and Noon. Sunday’s tours will run at 2:00, 2:20, 2:40, and 3:00.
