Starting today (9/28), Livingston County residents will have greater access to COVID-19 testing. OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center and the Livingston County Health Department launched a joint venture earlier this month to provide drive-thru COVID-19 testing, and now they’re announcing more hours of operation to make the service even more accessible.

Testing will now be provided from 8:30 until Noon weekdays in the OSF St. James parking lot. Appointments are still recommended for the best service and can be made at (815) 844-7174 Ext. 210 or 216. There is no charge for people seeking the test. Insurance is not required for testing, but those who are insured should have their cards with them.

Between September 8th and September 25th, just over 500 individuals were tested at the OSF St. James location.
