Livingston County Heartland Students Earn Honors

The Heartland Community College Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa has three new members from Livingston County. Phi Theta Kappa membership is offered to students who have completed at least 12 credit hours and who have maintained a grade point average of 3.5. The organization provides leadership, service, scholarship, and fellowship opportunities for its members.

After the summer session, three Livingston County residents are newly qualified for membership. They are Lisa Draper of Pontiac, Allyson Howell of Flanagan, and Nikki Hughes of Fairbury. These students were among 26 Heartland students inducted overall.
