The 2020 edition of the Mighty Vermilion Duck Race started with the traditional dumping of the ducks into the river on Saturday afternoon. The annual “race” is a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club of Livingston County and club CEO Jodi Martin had nothing but praise for the sponsors who stepped up to help in these difficult times. “We are so, so thankful for the sponsors that provided the ability for us to raise the money.”

Martin says the names of the sponsors are listed on the club’s Facebook page, and she encourages Livingston County residents to shop local. “Without our local businesses, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do each and every day.”

The winning duck was number 1401. Other winning numbers are listed on the club’s facebook page.
