Grants for small businesses are available through the State of Illinois, and a conference call with information about the program is available for Livingston County residents.

In a recent interview with WJEZ, Pontiac Mayor Bill Alvey said the call is set for Thursday morning (4/9) at 10. To participate in the call, registration is required. Interested business owners should send an email to [email protected] explaining who they are and their interest in the information.

The program could provide as much as 25,000 dollars for companies that employ 50 people or less.
