A woman walking on a Livingston County road was struck by a car and died Thursday morning.

Illinois State Police said Kenisha Hall, 25, of Berwyn was walking in the northbound lane of Illinois Route 23 around 4:30 a.m. when a vehicle hit her. The accident occurred near the intersection of Route 23 and Livingston County Road 2100 North. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson.

ISP said the driver, Kelli Folk, 37, of Forrest was not ticketed.
