Starting January 1st, the United Way of Livingston County has a new phone number. That may not seem that exciting at face value, but Executive Director Deb Howard says the phone number is just one aspect of some changes going on at the charity.
Howard says her hours with the organization are being expanded in 2020 and that time is going to be devoted to more outreach to areas throughout the county. Howard says the current campaign is going well. “We have a huge goal this year,” Howard says, “two-hundred twenty-five thousand and we’re about halfway there.”
Howard adds that the United Way is always looking for volunteers and others who want to help the various agencies served. Any questions about getting involved at the United Way should be directed to Deb Howard’s new number, (815) 844-9054. That number will be working on January 1st.
