A Christmas Eve accident claimed the life of a 51-year-old Odell man.

Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson says that just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, a 2001 Oldsmobile left the road and rolled over into a field. The driver was killed when he was thrown from the vehicle.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle when the accident occurred at the intersection of 25418 East and 2400 North Road in Union Township.
