A man who fled from police in Fairbury has turned himself in.

Published reports say that Fairbury Police were called to the Circle K gas station Saturday night for an unknown problem. Officers located a man who had broken a car windshield and injured himself.

According to police, the man fled the area and was tased. The man then removed the taser prongs and again ran away from officers. The man got away from authorities but then turned himself in to Pontiac Police.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information is available.
