The Pontiac City Council has approved a budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. The city’s financial plan was approved earlier this week, well in advance of the April 1st deadline. City officials were presented with a 16.9 million dollar budget which does not include another necessary expenditure—15 million dollars for modifications to the city’s sewage treatment plant.
