Illinois farmers just may get their harvest done in time for Thanksgiving this year.

Mark Schleusener, state statistician for the USDA in Illinois, says ninety percent of the state’s corn crop has entered the dent stage.

As for soybeans, leaves are turning color on about half the acres, with about three quarters in good-to-excellent condition.
