The Pontiac Public Library has partnered with the University of Illinois Extension to present two financial planning classes.

Director Kristin Holzhauer explained the two part “Make Your Money Stretch” series, with food shopping on a limited budget and planning for the future on a limited budget.

“The University of Illinois Extension Office always puts on a wonderful program that is filled with very useful and helpful information. Both of these programs are absolutely free and there is no limit in space or registration. If you’re still interested in these, there is still space for both programs,” Holzhauer said.

The classes are Thursday and April 24 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. To register, contact the library at 844-7229.
